Ebenezer Operation Exodus - Articles (continued)

The Jewish Agency

Increasingly close co-operation with the Jewish Agency over many years has been vital to the work of Ebenezer - Operation Exodus. There is a deepening bond of trust between our ministry and the JA in many nations. This includes a growing relationship with JA senior officials in Jerusalem. This reflects a clear recognition at the highest level of Ebenezer's faithful commitment to stand alongside the Jewish people and the work of aliyah. In the West, Ebenezer has been greatly blessed through working with the Agency in supporting aliyah flights from South Africa and the UK.

Ebenezer is continually looking to strengthen this relationship whenever and wherever opportunities arise. The Jewish Agency is changing the way it works and in 2010 is launching a series of new initiatives, including Aliyah Expo exhibitions in 20 countries. Ebenezer has the opportunity to be involved in these events as part of the sharing of the common goal of encouraging Jewish people to 'return' to Israel.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why isn't Ebenezer evangelising Jews instead of just helping them go to Israel?

Because God's calling to Ebenezer is to help bring Jewish people back from the former Soviet Union and other nations, and our understanding from the Scriptures is that most Jewish people will be saved after they are brought back to their own land - not before (see Ezekiel 36:24-29; Hebrews 8:8-12; Romans chapters 10 & 11). more >>
