From Exile
to Israel |

 |
 |
" 'For thus says the Lord
GOD: "Indeed I Myself will
search for My sheep and seek
them out. As a shepherd seeks
out his flock on the day he is
among his scattered sheep, so
will I seek out My sheep and
deliver them from all the places
where they were scattered on a
cloudy and dark day. And I will
bring them out from the peoples
and gather them from the
countries, and will bring them
to their own land; I will feed
them on the mountains of Israel,
in the valleys and in all the
inhabited places of the country"
' "
(Ezekiel 34:11–13). |

We are living during a time in
which we can clearly see that
God is fulfilling the above and
many other Biblical Scriptures
concerning the return of His
people Israel to their ancient
homeland. Indeed, as this
passage from Ezekiel says, God
Himself will “bring them out”
and “gather them,” and, as it
says in Jeremiah 30:3, the Lord
will “cause” His people to
return. More and more, we hear
about “lost tribes” coming home
to Israel. We are witnessing a
stirring of Jews in “all the
places where they were
scattered,” including the Bnei
Menashe in northeast India (who
trace their ancestors to the
tribe of Manasseh) and the
descendants of the Kaifeng Jews
in China. Even Bnei Anusim
(whose lineage extends to
Sephardic Jews who were forcibly
converted) are suddenly being
inspired with a longing to be
restored to their Jewish identity. |

It is a blessing to recognize
that this is a sovereign move of
the Lord Himself. He is
gathering His flock—His
people—back from the Diaspora to
the Land of Israel.
Yet He also wishes to use the
nations—non-Jews—in practical
ways to help implement His
prophecy-fulfilling acts: “Thus
says the Lord GOD: ‘Behold I
will lift My hand in an oath to
the nations, and set up My
standard for the peoples; they
shall bring your sons in their
arms, and your daughters shall
be carried on their shoulders’ ”
(Isaiah 49:22). |

Both your prayers and your
financial support will make it
possible not only to satisfy the
dream of Jews desiring to return
to their homeland, but also to
execute God’s divine will in the
earth. |
