Pray for the
Peace of Jerusalem |
|
Many Christians who listen to a
speaker share about the work of Ebenezer–Operation Exodus are often
moved. For the work is prophetic, and it is still only on the
threshold in the fulfillment of God’s kingdom purposes. The future
of Ebenezer's ministry will be exciting, since we look forward to
the time when the exodus of the Jewish people will be far greater
than that which took place from Egypt (Jeremiah 16:14, 15; 23:7, 8). |
 |
|
Indeed, at this
moment world attention is focused upon Israel—especially Jerusalem.
This situation brings to mind the Biblical injunction to pray for
the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6), which is so relevant in our
days! We can expect that Israel will continue to be the center of
world diplomacy and to be pressured by the nations to cede control
of its God-covenanted Land and to compromise its spiritual
principles.
|
 |
|
At the very heart of this struggle
is the city of Jerusalem. The battle is being fought in the physical
realm; however, it is primarily a contest in the spiritual arena. |
 |
|
This is the word of
the Lord concerning Jerusalem: ...Thus says the LORD, who
stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and
forms the spirit of man within him: “Behold, I will make Jerusalem a
cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay
siege against Judah and Jerusalem. And it shall happen in that day
that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all
who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all
nations of the earth are gathered against it” (Zechariah 12:1–3
NKJV). |
 |
|
These are all outward events. But
beyond the comprehension of most people on the earth, the LORD God
of Israel is working to prepare His Land and His people to welcome
back the Messiah, our Lord Yeshua, to reign upon the earth. Satan
hates this work and relentlessly seeks to turn the world,
governments, and even some Christians against Israel. We in Ebenezer
are praying for the well-being of Israel and Jerusalem and are
supporting God’s plan to re-gather the exiles of Israel to the Land
of their forefathers. |
 |
|
We invite all Christians whose
hearts are now burdened for Israel and the Jewish people to search
further on this Web site of Ebenezer and to become participants in
our amazing prophetic adventure. |
