"And I will establish My covenant between Me and
you and your descendants after you in their
generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be
God to you and your descendants after you. Also
I give to you and your descendants after you the
land in which you are a stranger, all the land
of Canaan, as an everlasting possession; and I
will be their God."
Psalm 105:8–11
He remembers His covenant forever,
The word which He commanded, for a thousand
generations,
The covenant which He made with Abraham,
And His oath to Isaac,
And confirmed it to Jacob for a statute,
To Israel as an everlasting covenant,
Saying, “To you I will give the land of Canaan
As the allotment of your inheritance.”
God Has Not
Rejected nor Forgotten His Jewish People
Jeremiah 33:23–26 (NIV)
The word of the LORD came to Jeremiah: "Have you
not noticed that these people are saying, 'The
LORD has rejected the two kingdoms he chose'? So
they despise my people and no longer regard them
as a nation. This is what the LORD says: 'If I
have not established my covenant with day and
night and the fixed laws of heaven and earth,
then I will reject the descendants of Jacob and
David my servant and will not choose one of his
sons to rule over the descendants of Abraham,
Isaac and Jacob. For I will restore their
fortunes and have compassion on them.' "
Romans 11:1, 2, 29 (NIV)
I ask then: Did God reject his people? By no
means!...God did not reject his people, whom he
foreknew...for God's gifts and his call are
irrevocable.
What God
Scatters, He
Re–gathers
Jeremiah 31:10
“Hear the word of the LORD, O nations, and
declare it in the isles afar off, and say, ‘He
who scattered Israel will gather him, and keep
him as a shepherd does his flock.' "
God Will
Re–gather and Restore
His People to the Land of
Israel
Isaiah 43:5, 6
Fear not, for I am with you;
I will bring your descendants from the east,
And gather you from the west;
I will say to the north, ‘Give them up!’
And to the south, ‘Do not keep them back!’
Bring My sons from afar,
And My daughters from the ends of the earth.
Jeremiah 23:3, 7, 8
“But I will gather the remnant of My flock out
of all countries where I have driven them, and
bring them back to their folds; and they shall
be fruitful and increase...“Therefore, behold,
the days are coming,” says the LORD, “that they
shall no longer say, ‘As the LORD lives who
brought up the children of Israel from the land
of Egypt,’ but, ‘As the LORD lives who brought
up and led the descendants of the house of
Israel from the north country and from all the
countries where I had driven them.’ And they
shall dwell in their own land.”
God Will Do
This with All His Heart and Soul
Jeremiah 32:37–41
"Behold, I will gather them out of all countries
where I have driven them in My anger, in My
fury, and in great wrath; I will bring them back
to this place, and I will cause them to dwell
safely. They shall be My people, and I will be
their God; then I will give them one heart and
one way, that they may fear Me forever, for the
good of them and their children after them. And
I will make an everlasting covenant with them,
that I will not turn away from doing them good;
but I will put My fear in their hearts so that
they will not depart from Me. Yes, I will
rejoice over them to do them good, and I will
assuredly plant them in this land, with all My
heart and with all My soul."
The Gentiles
Will Help
Isaiah 49:22 (NIV)
This is what the Sovereign LORD says: “See, I
will beckon to the Gentiles, I will lift up My
banner to the peoples; they will bring your sons
in their arms and carry your daughters on their
shoulders."
Praise and
Proclamation Will Release Them!
Jeremiah 31:7, 8
For thus says the LORD: "Sing with gladness for
Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations;
proclaim, give praise, and say, ‘O LORD, save your
people, the remnant of Israel!'
"Behold, I will bring them from the north
country, and gather them from the ends of the
earth, among them the blind and the lame, the
woman with child and the one who labors with
child, together; a great throng shall return
there."
In the Land,
They Will Receive a New Heart
Ezekiel 36:24–28
“ ‘ “For I will take you from among the nations,
gather you out of all countries, and bring you
into your own land. Then I will sprinkle clean
water on you, and you shall be clean; I will
cleanse you from all your filthiness and from
all your idols. I will give you a new heart and
put a new spirit within you; I will take the
heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a
heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you
and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you
will keep My judgments and do them. Then you
shall dwell in the land that I gave to your
fathers; you shall be My people and I will be
your God.”
’ ”
None Will Be
Left Behind
Ezekiel 39:28 (NIV)
"Then they will know that I am the LORD their
God, for though I sent them into exile among the
nations, I will gather them to their own
land, not leaving any behind."
The Messiah
Will Come
Jeremiah 23:3, 5, 6
“But I will gather the remnant of My flock out
of all countries where I have driven them, and
bring them back to their folds; and they shall
be fruitful and increase...Behold, the days are
coming,” says the LORD, “that I will raise to
David a Branch of Righteousness; a King shall
reign and prosper, and execute judgment and
righteousness in the earth. In His days Judah
will be saved, and Israel will dwell safely; now
this is His name by which He will be called: THE
LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.”
