 The Menorah
 
  " 'And you shall command the children of Israel that they bring you pure oil of pressed olives for the light, to cause the lamp to burn continually' " (Ex 27:20 NKJV).
   
  The gold lampstand stood in the holy place of the tabernacle, opposite the table of showbread. It was the only source of light in this place. Fueled by oil in its seven lamps, it shed light on the showbread (representing the Word of God, our bread of life).
 

In the Scriptures, oil alludes to the Holy Spirit, who illuminates the Word. May the oil of God's Spirit release revelatory light upon His Word in our praise and proclamation sessions for aliyah (Jewish immigration to Israel). During these critical times here in Jerusalem and throughout the Land of Israel, may we be like the sons of Issachar, "who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do" (1 Chronicles 12:32).
Aliyah Praise and Proclamation Watch
 You are welcome to join the Ebenezer Aliyah Watch in the
Prayer Tower in Jerusalem to worship the Lord and intercede
before Him for aliyah (Jewish immigration to Israel)!
When: Wednesdays, 16:00–18:00
Where: 97 Jaffa Road, Clal Building, 14th Floor, Upper Room
Directions: Enter the building from the Jaffa Road entrance to the right of Bank Hapoalim. Inside the building, turn right and continue until you reach the elevators.
