Ebenezer Operation Exodus - News update work in the fSU - Russia

News Update - Moscow Base (Central Russia) - October 2011

In the Stravropol region a family with 9 children are being raised by their mother who became interested in life in Israel after the team visited her. During our July visit they gave the children stationery and a gift of money for the purchasing of clothes for the children to go to school. The family were very happy and grateful. This project has inspired interest at the possibility of moving to Israel – please pray that this interest grows into a deep desire in the hearts of many families to make aliyah …. “I will say to the north, “Give them up””… Isaiah 43:6

Sasha shares that when the kindergarten attended by his daughter closed for repairs in July the head of the Jewish kindergarten admitted her to a fee-paying group. The result is that many young Jewish parents have been reached and have earnestly begun to think about going to Israel! Sasha was requested by the head of the kindergarten to give help to one family in particular. Two children have physical disabilities and one also has diabetes and requires expensive medicine. The parents struggle to survive. Although they have had difficulty finding all necessary documents they are eager to go to Israel to make aliyah. Please pray for the Lord’s help in this situation with the family, and for all necessary documents to be found. Please pray too for a right opportunity to give this family some financial aid.

As you have just read our aid to aliyah programmes are bearing much fruit because of the hard work and commitment of our teams in the fSU, the prayers of the intercessors and giving of our supporters.

We are now approaching the long winter months and once again this year we will be organising a number of important projects in the fSU. These will include; Winter shoes for children; Support for families with disabled children; Food parcels – throughout the winter; Medicines for Holocaust survivors; Hanukkah food parcels; Winter clothing and blankets as well as the ongoing supply of basic daily needs. We would ask you to pray for the funds needed to cover the cost of these projects and the ongoing work and if you would like to help financially please click here.
